In Texas, you have to register in the county in which you live – for most of you reading this, that should be Kerr County.
For any specific election, you must register at least 30 days before the election date. You cannot register online. However you may download a registration form and mail it in. OR, you can have a Volunteer Deputy Registrar (VDR) provide a form for you to fill in, which the VDR will then take to the County Registrar office. Ask us if you need a VDR to help you.
Check to see if you’re registered to vote with the Texas Secretary of State: https://teamrv-mvp.sos.texas.gov/MVP/mvp.do
This is particularly important if you have moved house or updated your driving license recently. Please check!
Fill in the registration form online (WHICH YOU MUST PRINT OUT AND MAIL YOURSELF): https://vrrequest.sos.texas.gov/VoterApplication/ConfirmStatusEN

For all other voter questions, we would direct you to VoteTexas.gov, which has all the current answers.
